Why a Photography Dictionary?

This dictionary was born out of personal interest.

Being an enthusiastic hobby photographer, I often came across technical terms I didn’t know in the other language. Because I am also a translator, the idea was born to put up this dictionary and to make it available to everyone who is interested in.

You are welcome to participate!

If you are also passionate about photography your comments, suggestions and contributions are welcome. I would be happy to hear about:

  • suggestions to extend the dictionary
  • alternative translations of the existing terms or
  • indication of errors
